产品介绍
DAPI是一种广泛应用于荧光显微镜研究的DNA特异性荧光染料,其独特性质包括:
(1)具有穿透完整细胞膜的能力,既适用于固定细胞也适用于活细胞染色;
(2)紫外光激发时,与双链DNA结合后呈现358nm吸收峰和461nm蓝色发射峰;
(3)虽能与RNA结合(发射峰红移至500nm附近),但荧光强度显著弱于DNA结合状态。
该染料的优势在于其蓝色荧光与FITC/GFP等绿色荧光标记及Texas Red等红色染料几乎不发生光谱重叠,因此是多色荧光检测实验的理想选择。除常规细胞核染色外,DAPI还可用于检测细胞培养物中的支原体或病毒DNA污染。需注意的是,其较宽的发射光谱可能影响检测特异性。
