葡糖基转称酶与梭菌酶荧光底物UDP-Gic-PEG-FITC是美国AAT Bioquest生产的荧光底物,尿苷-5'-二磷酸-1-α-D-葡萄糖(UDP-Glc)是碳水化合物代谢的关键中间体。 UDP-Glc作为糖原的前体,可以代谢成UDP-半乳糖和UDP-葡糖醛酸,然后可以将其作为半乳糖和葡糖醛酸掺入多糖中。 UDP-Glc用作蔗糖脂多糖和糖鞘脂的前体。 UDP-Glc是葡糖基转移酶使用的常见底物,包括某些毒素,例如来自梭菌(Clostridium dicile)的毒素A和B.
