核酸染色剂碘化己烷可透过哺乳动物细胞,并在存在革兰氏阴性的情况下选择性染色几乎所有革兰氏阳性。碘化己binding在结合DNA时显示大〜518/600 nm的激发/发射。通常,真核细胞的细胞质和细胞核均显示碘化己酸染色。我们不建议将其用作核染色剂,因为它会污染其他亚细胞隔室。
